The Senior Associate plays a critical role in supporting the firmâs operational and client service functions. This position is responsible for payroll processing, cost accounting, and data verification for tax documents. Senior Associates work closely with Account Managers and Advisors to ensure accurate and timely service delivery, while also providing backup support for Associate I and II responsibilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProcess payroll and prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports.\nPerform cost accounting and project tracking for client engagements.\nVerify data accuracy for tax documentation and filings.\nCollaborate with Account Managers and Advisors to support client needs.\nServe as a backup for Associate I and II tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations and sales tax return preparation.\nUtilize accounting software and maintain accurate records.\nLearn and adapt to new software tools and systems as needed.\nContribute to a team-oriented environment and assist in cross-functional tasks.\nQualifications\n\nEducation & Experience\n\nAssociateâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3 years of prior experience\nor Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nPrior experience with accounting software and financial processes.\nFamiliarity with payroll systems and reporting requirements.\nUnderstanding of basic accounting functions and reconciliation tasks.\nSkills & Attributes\n\nStrong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.\nEffective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively.\nOrganized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.\nTeam player with a proactive and supportive attitude.
