Summary:\n\nWindow/Door Service Technician is responsible for performing installations & service-related duties and repairs. The work is typically performed at a customers’ home, place of business or on-site at. \n\nTo perform well in this role, a person should be technically skilled and capable of working through complex tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills are necessary as time will also be spent interacting directly with customers. \n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n* Report to the Service Manager for the job schedules to be installed/inspected each day.\n* Responsible for picking/loading truck and driving to installation locations.\n* Perform service work on various products we sell, including but not limited to Andersen windows, Vector windows, entry systems, interior doors & trim, cabinet doors, as well as hardware.\n* Report anything else you see that may need attention while you are there to the Service Manager. \n* Responsible for tracking time on warranty service which requires photos and details of the product issues. \n* Responsible for collecting funds on chargeable service when the service call is complete.\n* Responsible for work area/customers home to be cleaned up and as neat & orderly as when you arrived.\n* Responsible for keeping your service vehicle clean, oil changes, and keeping track of the tools and materials in the vehicle.\n* Perform other duties as necessary or assigned. \n\nJob Requirements: \n\n* Previous experience in a similar role.\n* Valid driver’s license. \n* Ability to be insurable and maintain insurability.\n* Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds at times.
