Service Technician\nReports To: Service Manager & General Manager \nSummary \nService Technician is responsible for performing any number or service related duties and repairs either in house or on site. You will also be involved in some chargeable service/install jobs for our customers as well as deemed necessary by the Service Manager.\nJob Duties \n• Report to the service manager for scheduling of jobs to be completed each day.\n• Perform service work on any number of the products we sell in the home. Included but not limited to Andersen windows, Vector windows, all brands of our entry systems, and interior doors & trim as well as hardware.\n• Chargeable service and punch lists from our contractors.\n• Looking at the whole job when you are there to do a service call to see if anything else needs attention while you are there. Please report to the Service Manager before making any repairs not on your paperwork.\n• Be available to help on 2 person installs of windows, doors, cabinets or any other job too large for 1 person.\n• Responsible for tracking time and a detailed description of the work performed at the job or detailed information of work needed to be done upon inspection. Including photos and product ID tag if applicable like on Andersen & Vector products.\n• You are responsible for keeping your service vehicle clean and keep track of the tools and materials in the vehicle.
