Hours: 7am - 3:30pm\n\nJob description:\n\n* Primary responsibility is washing dishes, flatware, pots, pans using dishwasher or by hand. \n* Assist the Nutrition Program Manager/Assistant Manager and Chefs in the preparation of raw food. \n* Adhere to the governmental sanitary regulations in working with food.\n* Serve on the cafeteria line for the noon meal as assigned.\n* Assist in packaging bulk food for transport to Cresent Manor for the noon meal and assist with the packaging of home delivered meals as assigned. \n* Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. \n* Collect and wash soiled dishes in the dish holding areas (two in Dining Room, on in Rec Room) and office kitchen. These area should be checked, at a minimum of, \n two times daily. \n* Cooperate with all other personnel and volunteers in the program. \n* Exercise personal cleaniness and good grooming.\n* Perform assigned cleaning duties.\n* Perform all other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Prgram Manager, Chefs and/or Executive Director.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n* Must demostrate a willingness to learn kitchen sanitation procedures. \n* Preference to those with Servsafe certification. \n* Possess the physical and mental ability to perform the job responsibilities.\n* Must be sensitive to the needs and fellings of other people.
