Job Description:\n\nPromote new and innovative solutions to improve current workflow processes\nResponsible for growing Technology business, Parts, Service and Sales working across the organization and in the relevant market segments \nWorks with Technology Solutions Manager to establish annual forecasts\nWorks with Technology Solutions Division Manager and Technical Communicators to control, establish and monitor Service Processes and Standard Jobs\nWorks with Technology Solutions Manager regarding stocking levels and inventory turns\nMaintains an effective relationship with Technology Suppliers for Sales, Warranty and Service\nDevelops and delivers internal and external customer technology training schedule and curriculum for off season product training\nWorks with the Technology Solutions Manager to identify and implement new growth opportunities across the organization\nNetwork with technical colleges and state agencies to actively promote GPS products \nProvides post-sale technical support on Construction Technology such as Trimble, AccuGrade, CAT Grade Control, and others as needed\nSchedule, organize, and perform technology demonstrations and system startups \nTravel to other locations up to 50% (including overnights), and collaborates with management on technology and process improvements\nAttends sales meeting and customer events\nHelp establish standard operating procedures\nHelps quote technology products on construction equipment\nWorks within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nSUPERVISORY DUTIES\n\nOversees daily workload, performance, and activities for Construction Technology Support Specialists\nInvolved in hiring, performance, and overall people management with Technology Solutions Manager\nOrganizes, communicates, and delegates responsibilities and priorities to the construction technology support team to ensure the successful operation of the department.\nProvides regular and timely feedback that recognizes employee performance, motivating employees and promoting self development.\nCommunicates with and coaches employees on assignments, providing technical expertise as needed. \nSelects, trains, and develops employees consistent with department/division goals, providing coaching on career development. \nKeeps staff technically up to date on current and emerging products\n\nQualifications: \n\nA two-year degree or equivalent experience and training preferred.\nTechnology oriented with an understanding how technology is used in the construction industry\nPrior supervisory experience or Service Management Training preferred.\nMust have good leadership, detail, and organization skills.\nSupervisory experience preferred.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nGood oral and written communication skills.\nComputer knowledge.\nMust have good leadership, detail and organization skills.\nMust possess a clean driving record.
