IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Job Description: \n\n* The IT Support Technician position will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure in partnership with the IT Director and/or 3rd party IT vendor. \n* They will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users. As well as installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, software, and peripheral devices. \n* This position will also be working with network connections, security protocols, implementing IT projects, and performing routine maintenance. \n\nJob Qualifications: \n\n* Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and direct work experience \n* Relevant certifications and technical training preferred \n* Proven experience as an IT support technician or relevant position \n* Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues \n* Hands-on experience with operating systems, including Windows \n* Knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN \n* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team \n* Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach \n* Relevant certifications, Microsoft Certified IT Professional are a plus \n* Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive or M365 Suite
