Service Technician Job Description\n\nJob Title: Installation and Service Technician\n\nPosition Purpose\n\nResponsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems, camera systems and fire extinguisher maintenance. \n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\n\n1. Install and service mining vehicle fire suppression systems.\n2. Perform preventive maintenance on camera systems and fire suppression systems.\n3. Install and service camera systems on mining vehicles.\n4. Recharge fire extinguishers. \n5. Communicate with operators and supervisors. \n6. Document daily findings of needed repairs and performed duties.\n7. Knowledge of or experience with hand and power tools. \n8. Maintain and secure work tools.\n9. Clean and maintain work area.\n10. Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures and rules. \n11. Provide reliable and safe service to all customers.\n12. Carry out other assigned duties.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n1. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. \n2. Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.\n3. Possess basic mechanical skills\n4.
