Q: What kinds of services can Dakota Staffing Solutions provide?
A: The service Dakota Staffing Solutions provides to our clients covers a very broad range of industries. We can provide employees in executive, office/clerical, administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, call center, human resources, legal office, medical office, custodial, warehouse, maintenance, building construction, road construction, mining, power plant, oil industry. We can provide everything “From the broom closet to the boardroom”.

Q: Do you only provide temporary employees?
A: No. Dakota Staffing Solutions provides many other service options to our clients. In addition to temporary staffing, the other service options we offer are; contingent to hire, direct placement and payroll service.

Q: What do you do to ensure that an employee has the skills, experience and background and needed for a particular assignment?
A: In addition to our thorough screening and interview process, Dakota Staffing Solutions utilizes computer based software called Proveit to evaluate our employee skills to ensure the candidate has the skills and experience you need. We also will perform pre-employment drug testing and background checking when required for a particular assignment.

Q: Do you have minimum time requirements for assignments?
A: Yes. Because we pay our employees a minimum of 4 hours when they go on an assignment, we bill our clients a 4 hour minimum. We may wave the 4 hour minimum under certain extenuating circumstances.

Q: What if I decide I would like to hire a Dakota Staffing Solutions employee that is assigned to me?
A: We consider it high praise when a client indicates that they would like to add one of our employees to their team. It means we have made the right fit. The process is normally a very simple one. Call us and let us know that you are interested in hiring the employee and we will work out the details. Our only requirement for you to hire an employee from us is that you keep them on our payroll for a period of at least 90 days. It's that simple. Once the employee has worked at your assignment for at least 90 days, you can convert them to your payroll with no hassle and no hidden “conversion fees”.

Q: What is included in your rates?
A: Because the employee is a Dakota Staffing Solutions employee we are responsible for the employee's pay in addition to all of the statutory requirements, including workers compensation insurance, federal unemployment tax, state unemployment tax, FICA and all other payroll deductions and reporting requirements. There are no requirements for our clients. We also carry the required business liability insurance coverage.

Q: How do we get billed for your service and what are you terms?
A: We pay our employees on a weekly basis and they are paid every Monday for the previous week. When we pay the employee it generates the invoices to our clients. Your invoice will be mailed every Monday. Because we pay our employees immediately we have no float on our money so our terms are “net due upon receipt”. We offer a variety of convenient options for our clients to pay for service. You can pay by check, through ACH funds transfer and through credit card services.
