Contingent-to-Hire

What is Contingent-to-Hire and how does it work?

Contingent-to-Hire is a very flexible and easy to use option to fill your hiring needs. Once you have told us what you need, we do the rest of the work. We do the recruiting, screening and hiring of candidates. When we have narrowed down the field of candidates, you have the option to choose, to conduct a final interview to determine which candidate you are most comfortable with. The candidate remains a Dakota Staffing Solutions employee for the first 90 days of the assignment. As our customer, you then utilize those 90 days to determine the right fit with your organization. If at any time during the 90 day trial period you are not satisfied with the Contingent-to-Hire candidate, you have the option to notify us to request that the candidate be replaced. If a candidate is replaced the 90 day trial period does not start over but continues from the date the original candidate is replaced. This eliminates much of the risk in hiring.

Direct Placement

What is Direct Placement and how does it work?

Direct Placement is a convenient an attractive option for filling your staffing needs. After we have worked with you to determine your needs and skills, qualifications and experience required for success in your organization; we base our recruiting, screening and placement on the criteria we've establish together. As Part of our Direct Placement service, we believe thorough screening process are an integral part of a candidate's success. Included as part of our screening processes are things such as; behavioral interviewing, specific skills evaluations, reference checks and other optional screening steps including but not limited to background checking and drug testing. when we have determined who the best candidates are for your organization, we will allow you the opportunity if you choose, to conduct a final interview to choose the candidate you are most comfortable with. The candidate is then placed immediately on your payroll and you are then invoiced for the placement fee through out very simple billing process. Our service doesn't end there. If you are not completely satisfied with the candidate that you have chosen within the first 90 days, we will either replace the employee at no charge or issue credit on a pro-rated basis.

How We Do It

It's what we do. We recruit, screen and hire every day. That is why we are able to maintain a diverse pool of candidates with a wide range of skills and experience. Every candidate goes through an extensive behavioral interview process and then is evaluated on our Prove it evaluation system to determine their various hard and soft skill levels. After the interview and evaluation process is complete, reference checks are conducted. Why do we spend this time and effort? The reason for this is a simple one. We want every employee to have the skills required for the assignment and to be prepared to be productive the minute they walk in your door.

We want to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with our service. That is why we continue to follow up with our customers and employees during any assignment. It is also why we offer a guarantee with our service. If for any reason you aren't completely satisfied with our employee, call us within the first day and we will replace the employee immediately. This is accomplished in a number of ways. We do first day calls to ensure the employee is comfortable and is the right fit for the organization. Depending on the length of the assignment, we continue to monitor the process of the employee and quality of work on a regular weekly or monthly basis with customer end-users.
